We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product Management to lead the Vision, Strategy and Roadmap of our Merge Imaging Solutions portfolio. This role is critical in shaping the future of our award-winning imaging solutions, ensuring we continue to drive transformation and innovation for healthcare organizations worldwide.
The VP of Product Management will oversee product strategy and lifecycle management across key solution areas, including Enterprise Imaging, Radiology, and Cardiology solutions. This leader will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class products that empower healthcare providers to streamline workflows, enhance clinical outcomes, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term product vision and roadmap for the Merge Imaging portfolio utilizing an agile methodology, aligning with the company's business goals, three-year plan and customer needs.

  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends in imaging technology, data interoperability, and healthcare delivery to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop strategies for market expansion, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Product Management and Development

  • Oversee product lifecycle management, including ideation, development, launch, and sunset strategies for existing and new products.

  • Lead product teams in enhancing and expanding the Imaging Suite, including Merge VNA, Merge Universal Viewer, and Merge Workflow Orchestrator.

  • Ensure that radiology and cardiology solutions, such as Merge PACS, Merge Cardio, and Merge Hemo, meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and clinical teams to deliver products with exceptional quality, scalability, and user experience.

Customer and Market Focus

  • Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and goals.

  • Leverage customer insights to inform product enhancements and ensure a best-in-class experience.

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to adapt the product strategy accordingly.

Partnerships

  • Collaborate with business development teams to expand co-development and channel partnerships..

  • Strengthen the portfolio by identifying and managing the partner ecosystem to drive business growth through acquisitions, partnerships, etc.

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering results.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and customer-centricity across the product organization.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, or related roles within healthcare technology or imaging solutions.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex product portfolios and driving innovation in a competitive market.

  • Deep understanding of Enterprise scale software solutions, SaaS products, SaaS as a business model and cloud transitions in a healthcare environment or other B2B sectors.  

  • Knowledge of enterprise imaging, radiology, cardiology workflows, and healthcare IT infrastructure preferred.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • International experience is preferred but not required

  • The ideal candidate would be based in the greater Toronto, Chicago or Milwaukee areas.

  •  30-40% travel required
