About the location:
Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is a global, luxury hotel management company. We manage over 120 hotels and resorts and 50 private residences in 47 countries around the world and growing. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and to the Area President, the Vice President of Commercial will play a key role in driving the success of the Four Seasons brand across Asia-Pacific.
This position will lead regional functions including Marketing (Performance, Communications, PR, Media, Creative), Sales, Revenue Management and Analytics, leveraging the capabilities and group functional expertise from areas including Marketing, Guest Insights and Revenue Management to support the Area President and CCO to achieving the (P&L) objectives for the region.
The Vice President Commercial will inspire and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and executives across functions and organizational levels, and lead by influence across a worldwide matrix organization, identifying both issues and opportunities with the clear ambition of delivering transformative growth across the organization.
The individual will provide overall leadership, strategy and vision for the region as it relates to commercial performance with focus on current and future global projects being rolled out across the region. This will include representing the commercial strategy with the owners of the underlying assets across the region.
The successful candidate will have deep expertise and leadership across; Marketing (including Performance and Creative), Customer Engagement, Sales, and Revenue Management.
Job Description:
Leadership & Talent:
- Model the Four Seasons Leadership behaviours to inspire and lead a team of commercial leaders in the region.
- Collaborate with the people & culture team to attract best in class craftspeople and experts to nurture continued growth and guest experience for the company.
- Effectively recruit, manage, and develop Commercial leaders with growth potential and ambition.
Others:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Asia-Pacific region, aligning with the overall company objectives and brand standards.
- Lead and manage a team of regional professionals across various commercial functions, including sales, marketing, revenue management, communications and public relations, media, direct-to-consumer sales, creative, and analytics.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, implementing effective pricing strategies, and optimizing revenue management practices.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive marketing plans to enhance brand awareness and drive both customer acquisition and retention.
- Collaborate with the global teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging, marketing campaigns, and customer experience across all channels.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and industry partners to drive business opportunities and enhance the company's reputation.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
- Ensure effective utilization of data analytics and technology tools to drive data-driven decision-making and optimize business performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance in crisis management, reputation management, and public relations activities to protect and enhance the company's brand image.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and human resources, to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities and financial goals.
- Present regular reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and the Area President highlighting key performance indicators, market trends, and revenue projections.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the luxury hotel and hospitality sector and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven track record of success in a similar leadership role within the luxury hotel industry, with extensive experience in sales, marketing, revenue management, and commercial operations.
- Ten plus years of increasing or expanding scope as a proven senior leader in a hospitality environment.
Location:
- Role will be based in Singapore.

- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategy.

- Solid understanding of revenue management principles and practices, with a track record of driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability.
- Experience developing a corporate budget and forecast.

- Proven expertise and highly regarded leadership in global, luxury hospitality operations.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies across multiple channels, including digital and social media.
- Knowledge of the Asia-Pacific market landscape, customer preferences, and travel industry dynamics.
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasting reports.
- Experience in crisis management, public relations, and media relations is desirable.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
