What We Do

Xpansiv is the global market for ESG-inclusive commodities. These Intelligent Commodities™ bring transparency to markets, empowering participants to value energy, carbon, and water to meet the challenges of an information-rich, resource-constrained world.

We’re the marketplace for an ever-expanding ecosystem of proven environmental commodities, like RECs, offsets, and differentiated fuels.

The Xpansiv platform is composed of the following interconnected components:

XMarkets operates open, transparent exchanges that enable users to transact renewable energy, carbon, water, and differentiated commodity products. It facilitates secure, seamless transactions connecting buyers and sellers under shared rules without risk to counterparties.

XSignals reveals insights sourced from authentic market data, offering unprecedented clarity in the pricing and analysis of Intelligent Commodities. Market data reported directly from XMarkets provides unique, actionable signals to traders, financiers, and companies in the ESG markets.

XSignals provides transparent daily and historical market data to support trading, compliance, and risk-management decisions. XSignals provides the most comprehensive representation of value, based on complete ESG commodity life-cycle information.

XPortfolio contains our EMA portfolio management system that makes it easy to manage inventory across multiple registries and asset classes—all from a single, streamlined interface. EMA provides complete product-lifecycle management, comprehensive support for environmental programs, and a streamlined process to trade ESG products on the CBL exchange.

XRegistries connects market participants with an interoperable platform to transform commodity-production information into Digital Feedstock™ products. Digital Feedstock is an immutable data format that accommodates unlimited information from myriad partners to create differentiated products, listed and managed in XRegistries, which also provides seamless integration with leading ESG standards.

Now the world can value and producers can monetize superior practices, companies can better manage risk, and consumers can purchase differentiated commodities—like natural gas valued according to methane performance.

Welcome to the Digital Commodity Ecosystem™.
