The UX Design Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our product operations, with a special focus on user research and the integration of tracking tools. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of UX, this individual will be instrumental in ensuring that our user insights and operational processes are in harmony with the organization's overarching goals. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of product operations, user research, and data analytics, coupled with a keenness to learn and evolve within a dynamic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- User Research & Insights:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting user interviews to gather insights on product usage, pain points, and potential improvements.
- Analyze qualitative data from user interviews and other research methods to provide actionable recommendations to the UX and product teams.
- Collaborate with senior team members to develop user personas, journey maps, and other documentation that informs product development and user experience strategies.
- Collaborate on designs and prototypes for UX, iterating in collaboration with thePOs.
- Tracking & Analytics Tools Support:
- Support the implementation and management of tracking tools, such as Mixpanel and UserSnap, to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and UX designers to define key metrics and assist in setting up tracking for new features.
- Monitor and report on data trends regularly to help identify opportunities for product enhancements and operational efficiencies.
- Process Optimization & Collaboration:
- Assist in optimizing product operational processes by contributing ideas to streamline workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
- Facilitate communication among product teams, UX, and engineering to ensure alignment and the smooth execution of projects, as well as support ticket management andin JIRA.
- Conduct design quality assurance (QA) for JIRA tickets, ensuring that the final outputs align with the specified design requirements and standards.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Design, Data Analytics, or related fields; Master's degree advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in design operations, product design, or user research.
- Proficient in tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, UserSnap, Monday.com).
- Skilled in design software, particularly Figma.
- Proven track record in Design Quality Assurance.
- Well-versed in user research methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
- Analytical acumen, capable of transforming data into strategic actions.
- Outstanding project management abilities, adept at juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
- Superior communication and teamwork skills, comfortable interfacing with various departments and management levels.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Trello) is beneficial.
