IDEXX is seeking a results-driven User Experience (UX) Researcher to support a highly strategic initiative in support of our digital engagement teams within the veterinary software division.  

This individual will play a pivotal role in driving growth initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing innovative strategies and experiments for our SaaS solutions. They will be responsible for developing and testing growth hypotheses, tracking campaign performance, and sharing insights to optimize our consumer engagement efforts. Their work will directly impact IDEXX’s pet owner strategy by driving growth through cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance the hospital experience and elevate the interactions between veterinarians and pet owners. The ideal candidate combines strong marketing and data analysis acumen, an understanding of growth hacking strategies, and experience working with SaaS products. Proven experience supporting research initiatives through a mix of methodologies and a self-motivated performer is a must. 

We would prefer this role be to based hybrid out of our Westbrook ME office, but would also consider remote for the right candidate.  

This role will sit within our IDEXX Veterinary Software product portfolio. With a focus on software solutions, we are dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of pets, people, and livestock around the world. Through the power of the cloud, our solutions simplify the flow of information across any practice and link vets to what they need when they need it. Patient data. Client communications. A bit more about the role, you will:  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across various domains (e.g., product management, marketing, data analysts, designers). 

  • Implement growth hacking strategies (e.g., A/B testing, content marketing, community building) across the organization. 

  • Plan, design, execute, and analyze experiments to test growth hypotheses in consumer initiatives. 

  • Guide user personas and segmentation evolution based on data-backed insights. 

  • Present research findings and growth insights to stakeholders and leadership with actionable recommendations. 

  • Evaluate and implement systems and tools to track user behavior, measure performance, and make informed decisions about where to focus growth efforts. 

  • Consult on marketing strategies including content and design based on UX insights. 

  • Measure and modify campaign performance and optimization. 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in growth hacking, digital marketing, and UX methodologies. 

 

So what are we looking for? 

  • 4+ years Experience in UX research methodologies (e.g., Conjoint, MaxDiff, Qualitative Discovery, Usability). 

  • Ability to effectively implement new tools and systems. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail - project management experience a plus. 

  • Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Experience in working across functions. 

  • Ability to influence without authority. 

  • Proven experience in solving complex problems.
