Job Description
The J.P. Morgan Client Center Team leads the operation of the firm's Client Centers around the country. Our Client Centers allow our banking teams to welcome their clients and conduct business in a sophisticated and secure environment. We are responsible for ensuring that guests and visitors have a first-class experience from the time they enter to the time they leave.
As a Client Center Manager in the Private Bank you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Chicago Client Center. You will work in a complex, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment with bankers, product partners, and operations teams. Your role will involve managing the Client Center reservation books, overseeing daily meetings and events, implementing and developing protocols, liaising with catering partners and staff, and managing financials. This role will also support satellite Client Centers in our Midwest region (Clayton, MI; Grand Rapids, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Milwaukee, WI; Winnetka, IL).
Job responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Center staff, to include J.P. Morgan employees and contractors
  • Oversee Client Center's daily meetings and events in Chicago
  • Assist with operations across our Midwest Client Centers, with an expectation that ~25% of your time will be spent traveling to these locations
  • Implement, develop and follow Client Center protocols for all client meetings (meet and greet, security protocols, catering set-up, client management)
  • Liaise with catering partners and back-of-house staff and conduct weekly BEO meetings
  • Survey client experience and propose solutions based on feedback as needed
  • Manage financials to ensure that budgets are met annually
  • Assist in project analysis and opening of new satellite Client Centers
  • Instruct staff on various administrative tasks such as but not limited to: invoice processing, scheduling maintenance calls with vendors and order kitchen, banquet and office supplies among others


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of hospitality, event management, marketing/press relations, non-profit, or facilities management experience
  • Excellent time management and written/ verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work flexible hours and meet deadlines
