Upmarket Solutions Engineer

What you can expect

This individual serves as the lead advocate for customers. You will translate technical needs into product development recommendations, test customer environments and drive customer demand/features internally within Zoom. The SE must be able to understand and articulate Zoom's architectural advantages to our customers. You will support the Account Executive when it comes to proposing and designing solutions to our customers' biggest collaboration challenges.

About the Team

The Zoom Solutions Engineering team is a trusted advisor to our customers, playing an integral role in delivering happiness. We formulate and articulate technical solutions and the vision of how Zoom can create efficiencies. We are excellent presenters and can present topics clearly and succinctly to all levels of technical skill sets.
 

Responsibilities

  • Designing next generation communication solutions for Zoom customers

  • Conducting demo and proof of concepts for prospective Zoom customers

  • Architecting design and helping to close deals

  • Building market intelligence

  • Working across multiple boundaries

  • Driving the Zoom vision

What we’re looking for

  • Have experience as a solutions engineer for at least 5 years

  • Have experience with SaaS collaboration; i.e. web conferencing, cloud voice, UcaaS

  • Be a Solution Engineer with prior experience supporting Unified Communications, or Contact Center

  • Be highly proficient in all areas related to our products and represent the technical aspects of how we solve customer problem

  • Have experience in understanding traditional voice communications systems and applications

  • Be able to build rapport by having business acumen and executive presence

  • Have Cloud telephony and/ or Contact Centre experience

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$131 200,00

Maximum:

$262 400,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
