Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a rising senior for the role of Technical Writer Intern.  Interns will document product features and create instructional content to support adoption and learning, focusing on a single product throughout their internship.  This role will take direction from the Documentation Manager and will work with Engineering, UX, QA and Product Management. 

Job Duties:

  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and user guides

  • Create virtual tutorials and videos

  • Upload and maintain documentation on collaboration site

  • Proofread and edit documents submitted by team

  • Provide a quick turnaround and meet all deadlines

Education Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expectation that degree will be obtained between December 2025-  July 2026

  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship

  • Pursuing a degree in Media, Communications, English or related field

Requirements:

  • Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without restriction (this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future)

  • This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting 12 weeks with the expected start date being May 21, 2025 and ending on August 13th, 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of machine learning data preparation techniques, machine learning models and AI technology

  •  Self-motivated to complete work assignments and learn new software and tools

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit

  • Receptive to feedback on work

  • Initiative to solve problems independently
