Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Temporary Technical Sourcer to join our Talent Acquisition team at Red 6. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing top-tier talent for our hardware and software teams, with a strong focus on niche, technical roles. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for engineering talent, strong background for both hardware and software positions, and a passion for helping build teams at the cutting edge of AR technology and defense innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and role priorities.

  • Proactively identify, engage, and build pipelines of qualified candidates for hardware and software engineering roles.

  • Leverage a variety of sourcing strategies — including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, and other sourcing platforms — to uncover passive talent.

  • Develop creative outreach strategies to attract candidates with AR, VR, or related technology experience.

  • Build strong relationships with potential candidates by providing a world-class candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and transparency throughout the process.

  • Maintain and update our ATS (Applicant Tracking System) with accurate candidate data, pipelines, and sourcing activity.

  • Provide data-driven insights and sourcing metrics to hiring managers and recruiters to inform strategy and improve hiring outcomes.

  • Stay current on emerging trends in AR technology and the broader talent landscape to sharpen sourcing strategies.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of sourcing experience — either in a dedicated sourcing role or a full-cycle recruiting role where sourcing comprised 80% of your responsibilities.

  • Proven track record of sourcing for both hardware and software engineering roles, with an emphasis on highly specialized or hard-to-fill positions.

  • Strong Boolean search skills and expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and other sourcing tools.

  • Preferred experience sourcing candidates with Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), or similar immersive technology backgrounds.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and team members.

  • Ability to analyze sourcing data and provide actionable insights to enhance talent strategies.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.

  • Qualified candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
