Senior Technical Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific technical projects which have a beginning, end, and specified deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepares communication materials, business cases, funding requests, and presentations to gain acceptance for strategic plans from stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Builds and maintains key strategic relationships within various areas, including but not limited to support functions, technology, and/or business lines to ensure alignment with overall strategic plans.
  • Leads the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement, change management, and communication strategies.
  • Organizes project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules, and determines resource requirements.
  • Integrates vendor tasks into project plans, tracks, and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Performs project risk management.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience

  • 5 year’s project management and/or relevant experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Licenses/Certifications

  • PMO (Project Management Office) Certification or PMP (Project Management Professional) Certifications

Level-Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for enterprise-wide technical projects
  • Strategically align technical project deliverables with overarching business objectives and define tasks accordingly.
  • May manage multiple, interrelated technical projects, including business transformation projects

Accountability/Complexity:

  • • May manage projects requiring the responsibility of delegating work and reviewing resulting work product
  • May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within job area
  • May function as a team lead and assistant to the supervisor
