Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

WHY WE’RE HERE:
The Lattice Simulation group is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help oversee the development and implementation of our compute and test infrastructure initiatives. This role will support robust simulation environments and user-facing testing platforms that enable Anduril's autonomous systems. The TPM will partner with the team's Technical Lead Manager (TLM) to coordinate the design, development, and deployment of our simulation infrastructure, addressing technical challenges from compute technologies to high-performance networking and scalable cloud solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, cloud computing, and program management, with experience in defense or aerospace industries. This role is crucial in advancing Anduril's mission to deliver cutting-edge autonomous capabilities through virtual environments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support the development of a comprehensive compute platform for simulation testing and software-in-the-loop workflows, used by both internal users (Anduril engineers) and external users (Anduril end-users)
  • Coordinate the integration of our simulation infrastructure with Lattice, enabling seamless interaction between real and simulated environments
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between simulation capabilities and product development needs
  • Implement best practices for release management and high-side deployment
  • Own coordination of infrastructure deployment across various environments and customer sites
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to aggregate user feedback and onboard new business line

 REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of five years experience as a TPM in a high-paced, software development environment.
  • Robust technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, trade-offs and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams.
  • Strong experience and familiarity in project management for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Understanding of simulation technologies, autonomous systems, and their applications in defense/military contexts
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships for a user-facing product
  • Familiarity with defense and aerospace systems
  • Experience in building programs for software outcomes from ground up
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe or PMP
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline
