Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Technical Product Development ( Remote)

Reporting to the Head of R&D the Technical Product Development will be responsible for leading NEMA product development of US Based PODS.  Collaborate with engineering leaders, Manufacturing Operations Management, Product Managers and other Engineering and Operational functional leaders, to lead a R&D product development involved in the design, validation and implementation of innovative and cost effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture through development into full-scale production.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Direct and control the activities of broad functional area through Design & Engineering managers involved in activities such as  researching, designing, developing, modifying and evaluating integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and systems
  • Ensure Products are developed to the relevant product standards and specifications
  • Conduct on going analysis on existing products
  • Partner with other leaders to establish objectives and action plans
  • Ensure the development of Design & Engineering solutions for diversified industry segment covering a wide range of products and volume mixes
  • Ensure budget, schedules and performance indicators meet corporate guidelines
  • Provide technical and strategic guidance to subordinate directors to ensure achievement of goals and objectives
  • Develop and continuously improve people, methods, systems, processes and metrics in a complex and rapidly changing environment to improve customer satisfaction.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team,

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related, or equivalent experience and training
  • Minimum of 6 – 9  years of experience.
  • Experience in Power industry
  • Strong CAD experience
  • Availability to travel

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate$85,000.00 USD - $116,900.00 USD Annual
