The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

Role Overview:

As a member of the Continuous Compliance Services (C2S) Compliance Automation team, you will collaborate closely with the C2S team to develop solutions that achieve Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) objectives. You will be an integral part of an inclusive team, contributing to the establishment and direction of new services. Your role will involve motivating team members, fostering a trustful atmosphere, leveraging diverse perspectives, and using technology skills to promote continuous improvement and innovation.

This position requires effective interaction with multiple DT/GRC teams within RTX. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills are essential to remain focused on target initiatives and deliverables.

What You Will Do:

  • Analyze processes and workflows to develop automation solutions that improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to and enhance standards and procedures to meet policy and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate existing applications and platforms, conduct gap analyses, identify feasible alternative solutions, and assist in defining the scope of modifications to improve performance.
  • Take ownership of the system development life cycle, including testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Articulate and translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
  • Query and manipulate large datasets using SQL, with a focus on Data Manipulation Language (DML).
  • Create relational database models and work with data warehouse technologies to support Compliance data management needs.
  • Apply best practices in data analysis, data visualization, and data science to deliver high-quality insights.
  • Communicate clearly and present findings to various stakeholders.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation using diagramming and data processing applications to support project development and implementation.
  • Provide valuable input to project plans related to development initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 8 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 5 years experience.
  • 5+ years experience working with Compliance Frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, CSF etc.…
  • 3+ years experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, and .NET.
  • 5+ years in querying and manipulating large datasets using SQL, particularly Data Manipulation Language (DML).
  • 3+ years in scripting languages like Python, R, or PowerShell for automating data processing and reporting tasks.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong time management skills and eagerness to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
  • Highly passionate about and motivated with can-do attitude, a desire to facilitate organizational change, and a demonstrated eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in Project Management methodologies, Agile, Kanban or SCRUM
  • Experience with technical guidelines such as DISA STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
  • Expertise with tools such as JIRA, Archer, Tanium, Power Automate, PowerBI Service, Microsoft Visio,   
  • Certified security expert –CISSP, Security +, or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights using advanced AI and machine learning techniques

Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:

Remote: This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
