Overview of the role

Are you passionate about storytelling and employer branding? At GitLab, we’re looking for a Talent Brand Coordinator to join our Talent Brand team and help bring our culture to life through creative digital content and team member stories. In this role, you’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition, supporting hiring efforts by crafting compelling employer brand content that attracts top talent. You’ll also collaborate with teams like Corporate Communications, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, and Social Media to shape and amplify our talent brand presence.

Your work will involve curating and coordinating social media campaigns, team member spotlights, and employer branding initiatives, ensuring alignment with our branding guidelines while bringing fresh creativity to videos, graphics, and digital content. From gathering authentic stories from our global team to managing content for Built In, our GitLab Life Pages, and Careers Site, you’ll play a key role in showcasing what it’s like to work at GitLab. Beyond content creation, you’ll help support hiring efforts by partnering with recruiters to support in the development of targeted talent brand initiatives, ensuring GitLab stands out in a competitive talent market. Your keen eye for detail will also help maintain and audit our employer brand assets, keeping our internal and external platforms up to date.

What you'll do in this role

  • Connect with team members across different teams and locations to gather stories, quotes, and images about life at GitLab, helping bring their experiences to life for publications on Built In, GitLab’s Life Pages, and our Careers Site.
  • Review internal and external platforms like our Careers Site to spot updates that need to be made and help keep content accurate and fresh.
  • Keep track of important resources like our Recruiting event tracker, photo library, and employee release forms, ensuring everything stays organized.
  • Support in-person events by helping prepare event materials (booth management schedules, Slack planning channel updates, coordinating occasional shipping, and assisting with swag) preparation.
  • Work closely with teams like Corporate Communications, Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, and Social Media to help support and coordinate talent brand initiatives.
  • Be a champion of GitLab’s culture by helping to share our mission, values, and unique work environment through everything you do.

We're looking for

  • Interested in learning about creating and curating branded content
  • Supremely organized and have fine-tuned project management skills
  • Interest in learning and working with digital production and post-production tools (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)  
  • Experience with social media as a marketing tool, creating digital content for various audiences and an understanding of social reporting
  • Experience working with Google Suite and Slack is ideal
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Remote-Global

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

California/Colorado/Hawaii/New Jersey/New York/Washington/DC/Illinois/Minnesota pay range

$56,000$120,000 USD
