Each month, millions of people visit goodrx.com to find reliable health information and discounts for their healthcare — and we’ve helped people save $60 billion since 2011. We provide prescription discounts that are accepted at more than 70,000 pharmacies in the U.S., as well as telehealth services including doctor visits and lab tests. Our services have been positively reviewed by Good Morning America, The New York Times, NBC News, AARP, and many others.

Our goal is to help Americans find convenient and affordable healthcare. We offer solutions for consumers, employers, health plans, and anyone else who shares our desire to provide affordable prescriptions to all Americans.

As an intern you will be a part of the 12 week summer internship program that will provide an exceptional learning experience and an opportunity to be a part of a company who is helping Americans find convenient and affordable healthcare. We are currently looking for hard-working, curious and eager students to join our team.

About the Role:

GoodRx is seeking a strategic, data-driven Strategy & Operations intern to join our Health team this summer. GoodRx Health launched in 2021 to empower our readers to take control of their health with accurate, unbiased healthcare information that is easy to access and understand. Today, we remain just as committed to guiding our audience throughout the healthcare decision-making process, supported by an industry-leading team of physicians, pharmacists, psychologists, healthcare journalists, product experts, and, of course, strategists.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle strategy: Drive multiple strategic initiatives from scoping through implementation, aligning with Health’s FY25 roadmap and broader company strategy

  • Growth operations: Work closely with our Audience Development team to grow, engage, and retain key audiences in high-priority areas

  • Process improvement: Identify strategic and operational opportunities to accelerate the Health business, refining processes to boost efficiency and simplify workflows

  • Cross-functional stakeholder engagement: Partner across Product, ENG, Design, SEO, Editorial, Video, and Research to gather requirements and secure buy-in from functional leadership on owned initiatives

  • “Run the business” cadences: Gain critical exposure to the operations engine powering the Health team, from OKR management to budgeting to executive-level reporting

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Field of study: Business, Economics, Finance, or related

  • Demonstrated interest in consulting, business operations, or strategic finance

  • Strong problem-solving skills. You're comfortable with ambiguity and capable of applying structured, logical approaches to “blank sheet” projects

  • A clear bias for action, with the ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a gift for building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders

  • Previous internship experience in BizOps, Strategic Finance, or Management Consulting is a plus

  • Experience with Google Sheets/Slides, Microsoft Excel, Looker, and other business intelligence tools is a plus

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, with an expected graduation date between May 2026 and June 2027

  • Able to commit full-time to our 12-week internship program during the summer of 2025

  • Preferred location: New York, NY

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation for undergraduate interns is $22.00 per hour

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to interns throughout the duration of the internship

  • Office perks: hybrid model, catered lunch/snacks/beverages every day, frequent social events, and a fun, tightknit culture

**Application Deadline: Friday, March 28, 2025 (Noon PST)**

We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company and industry. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of the best and brightest from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has a seat at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunities to excel.

With that said, research shows that women and other underrepresented groups apply only if they meet 100% of the criteria. GoodRx is committed to leveling the playing field, and we encourage women, people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ communities, and Veterans to apply for positions even if they don’t necessarily check every box outlined in the job description. Please still get in touch - we’d love to connect and see if you could be good for the role!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
