The role
As Strategy Associate you will have the opportunity to influence the future of Bupa. Working with BGIUK CEO, Chief Transformation Officer, Director of Strategy and Transformation and the Head of Strategy, you’ll help to shape our strategy and play a key role in supporting decision making at the Executive Team and Board level.
You’ll help us make health happen by
- Carrying out bespoke research and analysis to support strategic planning work, producing high-quality written outputs and briefing senior team members
- Contributing to the development of materials for Bupa’s key executive forums – including creating reports to support Executive and Board discussions and supporting the development and review of strategic planning activity for example three year business plans
- Act as a key conduit between the BGIUK CEO office and Transformation Office providing day-today support and advice, helping to plan Executive Team meetings, senior executive visits and liaising with stakeholders to develop content for ET discussions
- Administer and manage strategy development programmes
- Building relationships across Bupa to support effective collaborative working
- Play a role in team management and administration, helping to maintain key team filing structures, project archives, tools and templates and organise team meetings, catch-ups and events
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and insightful messages, translating complex topics in simple, clear and data-led narrative
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop clear business insights
- Excellent people skills to build strong stakeholder relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and collaborate widely across the business
- Proven research and analysis skills and experience of using online and bespoke data sources
- Experience in strategy consulting or management consulting and healthcare is beneficial
