About the Team/Role
The Strategic Partner Relationship Manager (SPRM) is a field sales position that will work throughout the United States and Canada to grow revenue for WEX. The SPRM will be responsible for managing existing legacy partners and growing business through up-selling WEX products. Additional cold-calling, prospecting, consulting, and ultimately closing opportunities. This growth is achieved by visiting legacy partners & new prospects partners face to face in an effort to learn their business, propose innovative solutions that can be provided by WEX, and ultimately close new business.
How you'll make an impact

Gain complete understanding of the legacy partner and how they “reselling” WEX. Provide strategic direction to market opportunities. Guide them through WEX internal processes.

Complete understanding and utilization of the solution selling process (Initial Executive Overview, Operational Overview and Final Presentation).

Responsible for growth of the OTR Fleet Business including the achievement of individual revenue goals and expense budget.

Develops and maintains key internal and external strategic and business relationships critical to the success of the OTR Fleet business.

Complete understanding of the Rule of 78 and individual compensation plan,

Complete understanding of Salesforce

Utilizes knowledge of market opportunities to best position WEX’s product and service offerings to identify and expand the OTR Fleet growth by selling new fleet business.

Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of the OTR Fleet revenue goals

Stays abreast of current trends related to the transportation industry and understands the potential impact they may have on the Fleet business.

Complete understanding of all product and services in the OTR Fleet division

Complete understanding of the financial impact on each new customer acquisition

Ability to manage multiple projects at one time

Ability to cultivate and fundamental sales pipeline and manage each opportunity through the sales process

Ability to manage large projects and work with team members from other departments to ensure the success of the project

MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Word, and Salesforce.com preferred

Travel: Overnight Travel 50%

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
