Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.

About Snowflake

Founded by industry experts and backed by strategic investors, our disruptive built-for-the-cloud architecture was designed to push the limitations of conventional data warehousing.

Our teams breed ambition, challenge ordinary thinking, push the pace of innovation, in-service of the exploding demand for accessible data.

Snowflake is growing fast and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We’re passionate about our people, our customers, our values and our culture! We’re also looking for people with a growth mindset and the pragmatic insight to solve for today while building for the future. And as a Snowflake employee, you will be accountable for supporting and enabling diversity and belonging.

Snowflake started with a clear vision: make modern data warehousing effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. Because traditional on-premises and cloud solutions struggle with this, Snowflake developed an innovative product with a new built-for-the-cloud architecture that combines the power of data warehousing, the flexibility of big data platforms, and the elasticity of the cloud at a fraction of the cost of traditional solutions.

Our Data Analytics Organization is actively seeking a Staff Analyst, GTM Analytics to support our Solution Engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making by providing insights that optimize sales processes, performance, and strategic initiatives. You will collaborate closely with solution engineers, data teams, and business leaders to gather, analyze, and visualize key performance indicators, enabling the team to better understand sales trends and effectively support customer needs.

You will be part of a team charged with structuring and executing the quantitative analyses and management reporting needed to enable our data-driven Solutions Engineering organization to meet our rapid growth objectives. You will collaborate across Solutions Engineering, Sales,  Operations, Strategy, Finance and Marketing to create comprehensive reporting and dashboards to track performance and key operational metrics. You will build scalable frameworks for reporting and analytics, and become the go-to expert on all Solutions Engineering metrics. You will be a key part of the hands-on group creating a data-driven Sales Engineering organization.

This role requires in-person attendance in either our San Mateo (CA), Bellevue (WA), or New York (NY) office at least 3 days per week.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Own and manage key datasets and dashboards that are leveraged daily by Solution Engineering, Field Sales, Operations and others. Develop deep subject matter expertise across the portfolio of dashboards, own and execute on roadmap of new feature development

  • Partner with the Solution Engineering team to identify sales trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement. Provide ad-hoc analysis and actionable recommendations to help optimize sales processes and improve customer outcomes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver comprehensive reporting solutions and align on business definitions. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate complex data into clear, impactful insights

  • Build strong understanding of data infrastructure, including input systems and engineering pipelines, to facilitate debugging user issues

  • Support adoption of reporting through response to user questions/tickets, supporting enablement activities, etc.

ONE DAY WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • Bachelor degree in business, statistics, economics or other quantitative disciplines

  • At least 8 years of experience in the large cap tech companies and/or Management Consulting

  • Advanced skill working with SQL and dashboard tools (e.g. Tableau)

  • Advanced skills/knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and/or GSuite tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
