Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Bellevue, WA to

• Be involved in numerous projects that include full stack development of REST Service APIs, Back-end Batching applications, and Web Front-End User Interfaces that are secure, scalable, and robust.
• Participate in the complete project lifecycle, starting from gathering requirements to releasing the product into production.
• Perform unit testing, code reviewing, and regular check-ins for continuous integration.
• Participate in operation is based on the Agile Scrum development methodology with 2-week iterations.
• Collaborate within team composed of Development Manager, QA Manager, Developers, QA Engineers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner, with local Configuration Management and Database Engineering support.
• Position reports to the Bellevue, Washington office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires experience in the following:
• Experience with at least one of the following object-oriented languages: Java, C#, or C++;
• Object-Oriented Concepts;
• Service Oriented Architectures;
• Distributed Systems Design Concepts;
• Computer Science fundamentals;
• Experience in one of the server-side web application framework and languages: Java/Spring, JS/Node, C#/.Net MVC or .NET Web API;
• Authentication and Authorization standards: OAuth or SAML;
• Designing and building RESTful APIs;
• HTML5;
• SASS or CSS;
• JavaScript; and
• Modern JavaScript UI frameworks such as React and Angular JS.

Additional Information

Worksite: Bellevue, WA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $137,259.00 USD to $164,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
