Pinterest is looking for a Sr. Staff Product Designer with a passion and deep subject matter expertise in crafting accessible experiences. In this horizontal role you’ll partner across Design and with our Design Systems team and XFN partners to create and execute a vision for accessibility at Pinterest. You have deep subject matter expertise, a strong visual design toolkit and a systems mindset. You’re passionate about our mission, raising the quality bar and making the basics great. What you’ll do:

  • Establish the strategic direction and product vision for Accessibility Design at Pinterest 
  • Be at the forefront of accessibility design initiatives and broadcast the efforts across Design and throughout Pinterest 
  • Be responsible for mentoring and helping grow talent within the team while scaling the Accessibility team
  • Represent Pinterest Design within the design community, attending and speaking at conferences

  • A respected visual designer and systems thinker that has mastered their craft and cohesive product strategy
  • A mentor who is energized by growing others’ careers and knows how to motivate a team
  • An inspiring communicator that represents their work and the work of others, builds trust and influences alignment of our vision across marketing and product
  • A believer in our mission of bringing everyone the inspiration to create a life they love
  • 8+ years with a track record of shipping inspiring well built experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, a related field or equivalent experience

In-Office Requirement Statement:

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration1-2 times per quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
