Responsibilities

  • Shape and implement our comprehensive sports growth strategy, leveraging market insights and understanding customer needs and competition.

  • Tackle broad, ambiguous challenges, transforming them into clear, valuable, and delightful solutions.

  • Integrate user research and data insights into every stage of development.

  • Apply best practices across various platforms and devices, contributing to a cohesive design system.

  • Mentor and provide feedback with humor, grace, and empathy to teammates and cross-functional partners.

About You

  • A seasoned product designer—embracing information architecture, multi-step flows, motion, and holistic experiences

  • Consistently delivers polished layouts through typography, color, and visual hierarchy

  • Are especially skilled at making micro animations that burst with delight

  • Create beautifully crafted transitions that breath life into content

  • Understanding of how to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner 

  • Uses prototypes as a foundational piece of your design process both to identify appropriate solutions and influence stakeholders

  • Solves user problems in creative ways that go beyond obvious, expected solutions

  • Demonstrates empathy and openness when interacting with teammates and other co-workers

  • Presents designs clearly and confidently to facilitate useful feedback while shifting approach based on the audience and desired outcome

  • Takes initiative and accountability for timelines, deliverables and outcomes

  • Contributes to the design community both inside your company and beyond

  • Desires and takes action to grow professional skills
     

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital product design experience for iOS, Android, and web platforms.

  • Well-designed portfolio showcasing excellence in visual design, interaction design, prototyping, motion design, micro animations, and product thinking.

  • Track record of designing products meeting or exceeding industry accessibility guidelines.

  • Experience leading a user-centered design process from end-to-end.

  • Proficient in Figma, Origami, After Effects, and other design tools for creating concepts, prototypes, assets, and specifications.

  • Strong product sense with an ability to build products the market needs.

  • Passion for sports, coupled with deep industry knowledge.

  • Strong analytical background, leveraging data to drive business decisions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of empathy.

  • Experience in designing for sports products is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,250.00 - $266,875.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
