About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Manager to lead, manage and mentor a team of Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts and Salesforce contractors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Salesforce development and a proven track record of managing successful development teams in a fast-paced environment. This role will involve overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet business and company needs.


This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Salesforce Developers, Admins and Business Analysts, providing guidance, support, and curation of opportunities in an agile environment
  • Partner and consult with business stakeholders to identify priorities, make tradeoffs, and define business requirements against the roadmap
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce applications and solutions
  • Ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects on time and within budget
  • Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
  • Ensure work and code quality, DevOps & CI/CD adherence, agile development best practices, and process excellence
  • High level troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues related to Salesforce
  • Provide training, support and enablement to end-users and other team members as needed
  • Own incident management and post-incident analysis
  • Be passionate about new tech solutions and AI, as well as the latest Salesforce trends and features including Einstein and Agentforce
  • Skilled at interface and collaboration with Engineering, product, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate and evangelize a security-focused mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in management, 8+ in Salesforce development and administration
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in managing, leading and developing a technical team
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Sales and Service Clouds; proficiency developing with Lightning components, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • International implementation/migration experience and exposure to GDPR compliance a plus
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1 certification encouraged, additional Salesforce certifications a plus
