Sr. Learning Content Strategist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Learning Content Strategist to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering business-critical outcomes, driving small to large strategic initiatives for complex projects, while also designing and developing engaging learning experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in ambiguity, tackle complex problems with critical thinking, and possess a proactive, “go-get" attitude.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and evaluate innovative learning solutions that enhance performance and growth, and oversee projects from inception to full roll out.
  • Create and enforce a content production plan that aligns with learning objectives, develop a content calendar, assign projects, manage deadlines, and craft engaging, learner-centric materials across all content channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive learning strategies using Agile and traditional methodologies, building best practices and setting standards for the team.
  • Communicate confidently with stakeholders, influencing decisions and advocating for effective learning solutions.
  • Analyze data from learning objects and reports to inform strategies and recommend improvements to optimize content.
  • Maintain exceptional note-taking and documentation practices, demonstrating reliability by following through on tasks without needing reminders.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous situations, adapting to changing priorities, and working well with team members.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, ensuring transparency and consistency, while maintaining a positive attitude and genuine care for impactful learning experiences.
  • Craft engaging and learner-centric materials, ensuring consistency across all content channels (in-app tools, structured learning content, videos, social learning channels), and adapt complex ideas into digestible formats (graphs, charts, tables).
  • Visualize the eLearning course design, considering color schemes, multimedia, and layout.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (Design, Communications, Journalism, Information Systems) or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in learning experience design or related roles.
  • Proven track record of creating high-quality, innovative training materials and learning solutions using instructional/content design methodology and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Articulate 360 suite, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud Tools, Vyond, Synthesia, etc., to develop complex learning interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills, including experience in conception, planning, execution, performance monitoring, and project close.
  • Self-learner who can adapt to new technologies with minimal guidance as the tech-stack evolves.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and multi-tasking environment, working autonomously and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced skills in 2D/3D graphic design, image manipulation, video storyboarding, scripting, production, and editing.
  • Experience partnering with various stakeholders to create engaging content, e-learning courses, and multimedia deliverables that support continuous and blended learning.
  • Strong consultative approach and exceptional communication and influencing skills to effectively communicate and build credibility with audiences at all management levels.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources, identify themes, and develop compelling recommendations.
  • Strategic-thinking skills with the ability to collaborate with team members on best practices.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $112,000.00 to $156,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $179,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
