About the Role:
The Sr Director, People Strategy will be a critical member of the People & Culture Strategy & Analytics team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the multi-year people strategy that directly supports F5’s business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of business strategy, human capital trends, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of translating business goals into actionable people strategies and operationalizing those strategies for maximum impact. This role will partner closely with senior leadership across People & Culture and the business to ensure alignment and drive successful execution.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Develop and champion F5’s multi-year people strategy, aligning it with the company’s overall business strategy and growth objectives. Partner with VP of People Strategy & Analytics to facilitate collaborative design sprints and feedback sessions with stakeholders, to gather insights and refine the strategy. Drive the design and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned to the People Strategy, People Promise and missions.
- Governance & Reporting: Partner across People & Culture and the business to operationalize the people strategy, ensuring a clear governance framework, goals, metrics, and accountabilities are established and tracked via the People Strategy scorecard, and regular reporting via Quarterly Business Reviews. Regularly communicate the progress and impact of people strategy initiatives to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- External research: Conduct ongoing research and analysis of industry best practices, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes to inform the people strategy.
- Change strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for global People/HR programs and technology implementations, including but not limited to: organizational restructuring, talent management initiatives, performance management systems, HR technology deployments, and compensation & benefits changes. Measure the effectiveness of change management initiatives through data analysis and feedback mechanisms, and make adjustments as needed to optimize results.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of people programs and initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful people strategies that have driven positive business outcomes.
- Deep understanding of business strategy, financial analysis, and organizational effectiveness principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment preferred.

The annual base pay for this position is: $216,282.00 - $324,424.00
