The Emerging Technology and Innovation team at Charter is a business, technology and policy incubator. We believe that the best technology and businesses opportunities almost always come from innovations that simplify the customer's experience. This could either be the end consumer using our connectivity services, or businesses looking to innovate on our networks.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their technical proficiency in the following areas:

• Advanced knowledge of IP networking technologies inclusive of GPON, SDN, IOT, security, IP/WAN,
• Working knowledge of modern AI architectures and solutions
• Working knowledge of SW development tools and techniques
• Working knowledge of big-data architectures and solutions

As a SENIOR DIRECTOR on THIS team... you'll be responsible for imagining, building and launching next generational networks and services as part of a broader strategy to grow new businesses at Charter.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 9 years of management experience
  • 12 years of engineering and/or network operations experience
  • 5 years of project management experience
• Education:
  • Master's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Skills:
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Organizational Agility
  • Strategic Agility
• Abilities:
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Ability to lead and manage complex, multi-discipline projects involving various groups that are both directly and indirectly reporting
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with others while building constructive and supportive relationships
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications

  • Work from Home policy: 4 days in office/1 day WFH

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as CxO/Founder of a technology start up a plus

The base pay for this position generally is between
$155,600.00 and $275,800.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
