About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst with a focus on financial reporting to join our Falcon Complete team. As a Sr. Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, transforming, and analyzing data, maintaining data quality, creating reports and dashboards, and providing insights to key stakeholders to help them make informed business decisions. You will lead the analysis of financial data, developing advanced data models, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with senior and executive leadership to identify business requirements and data needs. You will also partner with other departments to incorporate their data into insights needed for Falcon Complete. Your role will be critical in driving strategic decision-making and supporting operational efficiencies. Your duties will generally vary based on the current business need.
What You'll Do:

  • Work with Falcon Complete senior and executive leadership to understand their data needs and provide recommendations for improvements to data sources and reporting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and create data visualizations that help drive business decisions.
  • Partner with CrowdStrike Data Services to ingest data into the CrowdStrike data warehouse to support reporting and analysis needs while maintaining compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and maintain integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize financial data models, data transforms, datasets, dashboards, reports, and queries with the highest level of data quality.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Snowflake and Tableau to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning activities.
  • Use advanced statistical techniques to improve the accuracy of financial predictions.
  • Present complex financial data and insights to senior executives and stakeholders, offering actionable recommendations.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations based on insights gained from data.
  • Complete recurring run-the-business tasks including, but not limited to, data snapshots, audits, and project statuses.
  • Implement and maintain a data quality framework to ensure consistent and accurate financial data.
  • Provide support, guidance, and training on data warehouse and tooling to Falcon Complete team members as needed.
  • Create documentation for all aspects of Falcon Complete's data, including a data dictionary, KPI playbook, dataset details, and other relevant areas of the role.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders regarding Falcon Complete financial data and insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on financial data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other analysts, ensuring best practices and consistency in financial reporting and analysis.


What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related discipline; advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.
  • 5+ years as a Sr. Financial Data Analyst or in a senior analytical role.
  • Advanced experience in financial data analysis and visualization, including experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven ability to create effective data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario.
  • Able to comprehend new concepts, ask pertinent questions, execute and document ideas and concepts with little to no day-to-day direction.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including leadership and other departments.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced experience with Excel is required.
  • Experience with the following is highly preferred: Jira, Salesforce, LogScale, Splunk

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $115,000 - $185,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
