We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. Within Card Data, Loss Mitigation, & Branded Card Operations, the Card Data Management team is accountable for implementing and maintaining processes that support the data governance. We work closely with our Operations, Product, Technology and Compliance teams to ensure our targeting efforts are compliant, meet the intent of business owners and delight our prospective customers.
As a Sr. Associate, Process Manager supporting Card Data Governance, you will play a key role in delivering well managed, re-imagined and streamlined intent and processes that impact the company's bottom line and our customers lives. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.
General Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve, and manage access to datasets and roles based on business needs and associate responsibilities
  • Leading and owning oversight of process improvement work and collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives
  • Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives
  • Identify and implement process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities
  • Tracking and resolving process breakdowns
  • Understanding customers' needs for the process and driving process improvements
  • Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures and


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management or Risk Management
  • At least 1 year experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or MBA
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Process Management or Project Management or Risk Management
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL
  • 1+ years of experience in using Jira
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or Project Management certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $86,300 - $98,400 for Sr. Process Manager
Richmond, VA: $78,400 - $89,500 for Sr. Process Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
