About the Role:

The Lyra International Finance team is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our growing team, reporting directly to the International Finance team lead. This is a unique, high impact opportunity to help scale an International Finance function and collaborate with business partners across the globe (APAC, EMEA, LATAM, etc.). The role will be responsible for financial support to the International business through financial analysis, budgeting, planning & forecasting; to facilitate decision making and future business strategies.


This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.


*Strong preference for candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone (US).



Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s annual budgeting process and lead financial reviews with cost center owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across functions within the organization. Serve as a key point of contact for finance guidance to support budget management and decision-making processes.
  • Manage preparation of quarter-end close package and variance analysis, identifying key focus areas for management. Assist with scenario planning and data reporting.
  • Responsible for budgeted spend tracking, monthly close activities, and headcount management. Design and implement control processes to manage spending and headcount within plan.
  • Liaise with the Accounting team and cross-functional business partners to ensure correct accounting treatment of transactional activities.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendation regarding the development and improvement of planning systems. Manage day-to-day system support.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes.
  • Assist in preparing the Board of Directors, Audit Committee and management financial presentations to “tell the story” behind the numbers.
  • Review workstreams to recommend opportunities to improve the team's ability to review various financial metrics including revenue, COR, margins and operating expenses.
  • Manage and track business deliverables for budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Lyra’s international subsidiaries/entities.
  • Challenge status quo to help build a scalable FP&A function.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or business support roles working with large datasets, consolidating, analyzing and creating data-driven models.
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitative field.
  • Advanced Excel background and experience building financial models from scratch.
  • Experience building and delivering presentations with Powerpoint/Google Slides.
  • Experience with enterprise software tools such as Pigment, Netsuite, Salesforce, etc.
  • Experience working for a multinational corporation or strong desire to work with the nuances of a global business.
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to creatively solve problems with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and willing to have a flexible schedule when needed to work with international business partners. 
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively cross-functionally across global stakeholders, especially executives.
  • Prior experience working in healthcare or technology industry preferred.
