Job Description:
Sr. Analysts, Data Science and Analytics for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S (HQ: Chicago, IL). Develop credit risk management and business intelligence analytic solutions through consulting engagements and research. Partner with internal and external cross-functional teams to drive new business initiatives and deliver long term value-added product propositions. Lead analytic engagements involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis through the consumer lending portfolio lifecycle. Design and write programs for data extraction, segmentation and statistical analysis on large population datasets. Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal and external customers and an executive audience. Develop project proposals, sales presentations and promotional collateral. Mentor and train junior colleagues. Technical environment: SQL; Hive; Linux; segmentation; logistic regression; survival analysis; principal component analysis; Monte Carlo simulation; scenario & sensitivity analysis; Spark; R; Decision Tree; XGBoost; Machine Learning Model Validation & Auditing; Clustering Models; AWS; Python.
Job Requirement:
Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Analytics or related field plus 1 year of experience in Data Analytics required. Required skills (can be gained through experience or education): SQL; Hive; Linux; descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis; segmentation; logistic regression; survival analysis; principal component analysis; Monte Carlo simulation; scenario & sensitivity analysis; Spark; R; Decision Tree; XGBoost; Machine Learning Model Validation & Auditing; Clustering Models; AWS; Python. Telecommuting permitted.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $93,974/yr - $112,500/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
