We are seeking a Section Manager for our ECS Software Test Solutions organization. The Software Test Solutions organization develops and delivers test solutions for our complex electronic products to both our factories and to our engineering teams. In this role, you will manage and develop a medium sized staff of Software Test Engineers and collaborate closely with the business to be able to provide the right personnel to each project.
In addition to staffing and people development responsibilities, you will be responsible for partnering with leads on projects within the ECS business area to help ensure that business objectives are met, and that software test engineering has consistent, predictable performance. You will participate directly on test capability development across the business area as a mentor and reviewer.
Software Test Solutions Engineering is fast paced and dynamic. You will need to be self-motivated, and highly collaborative to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:

• Section managers are important members of the Software Leadership team. This Front-Line Leader role has 2 major responsibilities:
  • Partner and collaborate with the business leaders to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Developing the technical and professional skills of the team
• Manage staffing and provide resources to projects
• Work closely with product line engineering to ensure alignment and understanding of the required test capabilities and functions.
• Responsible for implementation of Software Test Solutions Strategy and processes
• Partner with operations and the factory to ensure customer satisfaction
• Reviewing and developing RF test strategies and applications for production test solutions
• Attract and retain staff to support the business; resolve any resource or staffing issues.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• BS Degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of work experience, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8+ years or comparable test engineering related experience preferred.
• Experience developing in C#
• Experience with NI TestStand
• Experience with production test processes and systems
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Familiar with design for test paradigms, test software, and data analytics
• High level of RF testing experience
• Prior success leading teams and managing projects.
• A continuous improvement mindset to enhance manufacturing test methods through process modernization.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven performance in management, mentoring, coaching and communication skills.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
