Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Virtual Software Programmer. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Mission Products and Services team, focused on serving as a trusted partner to our warfighter customers, providing exceptional software products and services to U.S. and foreign military defense organizations. In this role you will be a key player as part of the team modernizing and sustaining US Air Force systems supporting global transportation planning and passenger movements. The primary function of this position is to provide experienced software design, programming, and troubleshooting skills for complex software applications. This position will be involved with all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) related to large applications and software programs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in gathering and evaluating end user requirements.
- Writes and compiles routine code and constructs routine database objects based on documented design.
- Implements, documents and maintains routine computing applications and software.
- Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
- Designs, programs and executes test plans.
This position is contingent upon award.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years’ experience in computer programming
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in all aspects of designing and implementing requirements, software and software testing
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Experience with version control tools such as git, Bitbucket, etc.
- Experience with Typescript, Angular, Bootstrap, Java, SQL
- Experience with Testing Frameworks: xUnit, jUnit, Cyprus, Selenium
- Experience with Software Development Patterns: microservice, REST, Mono Repo, Mono DB’s, SPA
- Experience with logistics and/or command and control domains
- Experience with system level verification and validation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary base pay range $76,500 - $85,000.
