Fullsteam is currently seeking a Software Development Architect/Manager whose responsibilities will include becoming an expert on Fullsteam’s payment processing platform and providing software engineering and timeline oversight/advice/guidance to newly acquired business units that are integrating to Fullsteam’s payment processing platform with the goal of greatly reducing the time required to convert all software customers to FullsteamPay.  The role will work directly with business unit product managers and development teams to understand the business unit software and how payments work in the business unit’s vertical to plan the phases of the integration and create a timeline that will be used to measure/enforce progress, identify struggles, and provide hands-on direct development intervention/guidance as needed. 

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • Payment Processing Industry Experience

  • At least 5 years of software development experience

  • Software development management/architecture experience is preferred

  • Knowledge of and/or ability to write code and advise within many different software stacks including, but not limited to:

  • JQuery, React, Angular, ASP
  • C#, PHP, Java, VB.Net, Swift, VB6, Python
  • React Native, Xamarin, .Net Maui
  • Windows Server, Linux, IIS, Apache, NGINX, Node.JS, Native iOS and Android
  • Superior verbal and written communication

  • Knowledge of and experience with Secure Application Development Practices focusing on PCI scope-reducing solutions.

  • Full stack development skills (UIs, APIs, back-end processes, and databases)

  • Understanding of application architecture, design patterns, methodologies and best practices

  • Must be able to work collaboratively, but is self-motivated for excellence in deliverables

  • Provide engineering oversight, technical guidance, and timeline management for payments integrations with a focus on quickly delivering MVP solutions.

  • Develop code samples and guides that are designed to further simplify and expedite timelines

  • Support Business Units in planning how to deliver and deploy the payments integration to existing customers as fast as possible

  • Enforce integration timeline expectations

  • Ability to learn quickly under tight deadlines

  • Agile development process experience is preferred

  • Ability to work Monday-Friday during normal business hours with teams across the United States (and occasionally other hours with teams across the world) using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration tools, with video and audio on.

  • Experience working across teams including product managers, developers, QA, integration support, infrastructure engineers, and other departments within Fullsteam that support acquired BU acquisitions beyond payments.

  • Ability to provide support including responding to being paged for urgent integrations problems.
