How YOU will make a Difference:
The Software Developer role will support several internal applications and participate in the modernization of HMA's internal systems. This position will be responsible for the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method.
The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products, and services and to understand customer needs.
What YOU will do:

  • Review business requirements and ensure delivered products meet these requirements.
  • Work with team on project lifecycle, including project scope, resources, schedule, development, and deployment to ensure success.
  • Design and develop high performing, scaling, secure and innovative applications
  • Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
  • Maintain an excellent quality standard for products delivered to customers.
  • Collaborates with other developers, team leads, business analysts and various IT teams to gather, curate and build applications that address business needs
  • Provides consultation to functional partners to support the design/development of systems.
  • Provide maintenance and final-tier support for applications
  • Seek to automate workflows and data feeds that are currently done manually
  • Create and update documentation of applications' coding methodologies, schemas, architecture and integrations.


Knowledge, Experience, and Key Attributes needed for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science or related field) required
  • 3-7+ years application development experience utilizing C#, ,Net Core, and SQL/No-SQL
  • Excellent communication, strong problem solving, business analysis and sharp analytical abilities, and proven design skills
  • Experience developing cloud-based applications with Azure technologies
  • Experience with front-end frameworks and languages including React, Angular, Bootstrap, Node.js, HTML5, and JavaScript.
  • Azure DevOps and Git experience.
  • Fluent in test-first and test-driven design methodologies and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work directly with business partners to flush out requirements and create technical designs.
  • Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision
  • Analyze and resolve medium to large, moderately complex production problems
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Expert certification (preferred)


Compensation:
The base salary range for this position in the greater Seattle area is $133,000 - $170,000 and varies dependent on geography, skills, experience, education, and other job or market-related factors. Performance-based incentive bonus(es) is available. HMA is primarily a remote workforce, requires a reliable internet connection, and provides all hardware. Some roles are required onsite 1-3 days per week/month while other roles are 100% remote.
