The Role

We're seeking a Social Media Manager to architect our social strategy and be the voice of Alchemy to our 2M+ strong builder community. The ideal candidate isn't just a content scheduler – you're a web3 native who knows how to make the timeline laugh while dropping knowledge. You'll craft our presence across Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Farcaster, and Discord, working directly with our Community Lead.

Your mission: Create content that spans partner collabs, ecosystem wins, alpha drops, product ships, and dev education that hits different. You should know the difference between a god-tier meme and cringe, understand when to meme post and when to stay professional, and have the instincts to read the room across different platforms.

The perfect SMM has good attention to detail, a growth mindset, and creative superpowers. Your passion for onchain innovation should match your ability to craft the perfect viral moment. You should be equally comfortable making builders laugh with top-tier memes and breaking down complex technical concepts. As a strategic ally to marketing and product teams, you'll prove your impact through data while advancing Alchemy's mission. Your expertise will be the secret sauce that levels up Alchemy's cultural presence and keeps our community engaged af.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate on and execute a social media strategy worthy of Alchemy's vision
  2. Create killer memes and content that make builders stop scrolling and start building
  3. Master the art of the memes while knowing when to keep it professional
  4. Level up our community engagement by speaking their language and showcasing our builder culture
  5. Amplify ecosystem wins and curate the signals from the noise
  6. Collab with design wizards to craft visuals that can't be ignored
  7. Build out a content calendar that balances fun with value
  8. Stay ahead of trending formats and conversations in the onchain space
  9. Lead our presence on emerging platforms where builders are gathering
  10. Turn technical updates and product ships into engaging content that builders actually want to read
  11. Track and report on engagement metrics that actually matter

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record scaling and managing social for major onchain brands
  • Deep understanding of crypto culture - you live and breathe this space
  • God-tier memeing abilities and top-shelf meme skills
  • Strong grasp of what makes content pop off in the space
  • Experience working with technical teams and translating complex concepts into engaging content
  • Quick on your feet - can read the room and adapt strategy on the fly
