As a Site Merchandising Manager for the Equine & Exotics team at Chewy, you will be responsible for creating a best-in-class site experience for customers by developing merchandising strategies, understanding customer behavior, and optimizing the site experience.

Chewy is looking for a  to join our Exotics team, based in Bellevue, WA or Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity building the shopping experience for our quickly growing Exotics category. In this role you will be responsible for understanding customer shopping behavior, developing merchandising strategies for our core shopping aisles, and building transparency for Exotics in top-of-funnel pages. You will iteratively test and learn to continuously optimize the site experience for our customer. You like to partner with cross-functional collaborators to translate business priorities into onsite merchandising or product strategies. You are a critical thinker, organized, and able to handle ambiguity.                                        

  • Own onsite merchandising for areas of Chewy you handle
  • Build an outstanding site experience for customers
  • Drive segment targeting and scalable content placement
  • Use web analytics and data to guide ongoing site experience improvements and content optimizations that drive awareness and engagement with Chewy products and service programs
  • Drive continuous learning and onsite experience excellence through iterative content experimentation

  • College degree in business-related field
  • 4+ years’ work experience, with 2+ years in E-commerce and content management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross-functionally collaborators
  • Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
  • Exotics experience preferred

  • Experience in E-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with SQL

Our pay range for a  position is  The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
