Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Adheres to Integer's Core Beliefs, all Safety and Quality requirements, Diversity and Inclusion values.
- Promotes proactive generation of new projects ideas by capturing inputs from Commodities Strategies, Supply Chain Risk Assessment, Growth & Manufacturing Strategy, Regulatory Outlook, and matching to Internal Integer capabilities.
- Maintains Integer’s Capabilities & Spend profile Matrix by mapping out existing and future internal capabilities and matching them with external spend categories.
- Organizes and prioritizes list of new project opportunities, defines initial scope and presents to the MvB Council for Integer overall MvB project pipeline review and strategy alignment on vertical integration roadmap.
- Completes evaluation, stakeholder review and prepares a detailed Business Case for prioritized list of projects, including financial analysis, resource requirements (CapEx if applicable), quality and regulatory requirements, facility capability and capacity analysis, supply chain risk assessment and customer specific requirements.
- Hosts project specific approval meetings with applicable internal stakeholders and approvers.
- Ensures smooth transition of approved projects to the applicable site(s) operations teams for project execution and implementation.
- Monitors progress and captures monthly savings by site and update project projections against budget.
- Performs other functions as required.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other Technical Field. Master’s in Engineering, Science or Business Administration preferred.
- Project/Program Management certification desired.
- Minimum Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in managing new Product Development, Engineering or related process driven field.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Specialized Knowledge:
- Demonstrated expertise with Project Management principles, practices, techniques and tools. Team development acumen with proficiencies in team building and influencing skills.
- Special Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge including various manufacturing processes and the ability to read and understand blueprints
- Previous experiences leading teams in the development and detailed reviews of product specifications, risk analyses, and system test strategies.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) required.
- Other:
- Proficient knowledge of PC software applications including Microsoft Office and MS Project.
