About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Sourcing Analyst, Procure-to-Pay within the Procurement organization to support P2P Operations specific to T&E. This position will assist in advancing the savings goal targets as mandated by leadership and our business partners as well as ensuring T&E policy adherence. The role has great potential for growth within the facets of Strategic Sourcing or Travel Expenses, the candidate will be exposed to both as part of their core job function.

What You'll Do:

  • Negotiate new and renewing SaaS contracts with an annual contract value of <$50k  
  • Collaborate with the business and legal to mitigate undue risk
  • Partner with the business to provide best-in-class end-to-end contract intake-to-signature process
  • Work with stakeholders to get ahead of assigned renewals for optimal timing and to ensure maximum leverage during negotiations
  • Assist with Motive P-Card vendor management duties as assigned 
  • Own transactional, administrative and compliance aspects of T&E related tools (e.g. Navan & Expensify)
  • Directly responsible for managing the T&E program at large and will strategize with leadership on process and policy improvements to manage overall spend. 
  • Maintenance of SaaS renewals tracker inclusive of T&E-related SaaS tools
  • Perform cyclical analyses of available T&E tools, and the benefit and feasibility of transitioning to any of the alternatives on the market
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university 
  • 1-3 years of procurement experience reviewing and negotiating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) contracts
  • 1-3 years working in a tech start-up environment is preferred 
  • Experience interacting with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Audit and/or public accounting experience is preferred
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and corporate travel & expense programs
  • Ability to understand basic legal acumen and collaborate effectively with Motive Legal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot unexpectedly when needed
  • Customer service-focused 
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Great communication skills

Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The base compensation range for this role is:

$68,000$103,000 USD
