We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for Managing escalation change requests. Your primary responsibility will be to offer support for escalated change requests as needed.

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Responsibilities:

  • Holding regular meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and share updates with Project Manager.
  • Managing escalation change requests by identifying issues and providing effective resolutions.
  • Offering support for escalated change requests as needed.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 3+ Years of experience in development position
  • 3+ Years of experience as UNIX SysAdmin and working with large log files

Must Have Skills:

  • Proficient in C/C++
  • Well versed in the following OS/Platform:
  • Linux(Cent OS) (Debian) (RedHat) (SUSE), UNIX(AIX), Window Server
  • Cloud: AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory
  • Skilled in Networking Protocol SSH/HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP
  • Experience on HyperVisors like Azure, VMWare ESX and VMWare vCloud
  • Well versed in IAM SSO, E-Mail: SMTP/SMTPS
  • Strong background on Microsoft Technologies such as Active Directory, Domains and Trusts, Permissions, Kerberos, Group Policy
  • Experienced on SSH/UNIX, Putty/Telnet, SSH keys, sudo, Syslog (system logs) / var.
  • Proficient in English Reading, Verbal, Written, Multitasking, Organized/Logical, Punctual

Nice to Have Skills:

  • OS/Platform: MacOS, UNIX (BSD), UNIX (HP-UX), UNIX (Solaris)
  • Cloud: AWS Directory Service for Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Domain Services, Google Cloud Platform Managed Service for Microsoft Active Directory
  • Databases: RedHat Directory Server, AIX DB2, General LDAP, SAP
  • Case Management: Azure DevOps, SalesForce
  • Alerting: Syslog, SNMP
  • Ticketing Systems: JIRA, ServiceNow
