Position Purpose: The Senior Sales Operations Analyst will play a highly visible and key role in creating, developing and analyzing reports with oversight reporting of sales i.e. budgets, Broker bonus/co-op tracking, sales incentive and membership for senior management. This position will maintain the integrity of the data and complete regular and ad-hoc projects to ensure the smooth operations of a Sales line of business or market segment. The Senior Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the analytic process and serves as the subject matter expert and point person for operations and is involved with development and implementation of processes, policies and procedures. This position will evaluate every aspect of Sales business and identify and inform the business on how to improve reporting or processes including but not limited to optimizing marketing, spend, forecast, etc. across multiple divergent channels to ensure Sales obtains the best data available in maximizing ROI.

  • Participate in strategy and project planning with Director by working closely with leaders across the organization to figure out the scope and business question at hand, decide what data is needed, gather and structure that data, perform the appropriate analysis. Create and present the subsequent findings, observations and recommendations as well as create the reporting needed to track the results.
  • Provide training and assist with creating communications for the Sales, Marketing and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate and interface with the various departments, management, subject matter experts, and system experts in support of Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders including but not limited to Product, Accounting, IT, Underwriting, Marketing, Financial Planning and Analysis, and Sales.
  • Facilitate requirements meetings, writing and reviewing requirement documents, and documenting business processes and workflows.

Highly Preferred

Experience in analytics and data manipulation.

Excel / Word / PowerPoint – Power BI and Salesforce.com experience is a plus. Finance background a plus.

Must Reside in the United States.

90% Remote and 10% travel for in office meetings/trainings.

Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree. 2 years of experience in an analytical role. 4 – 6 years of health care industry experience. Ability to develop business requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community. Ability to analyze and design business processes. Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality and to comply with established program standards. Willing to gain knowledge of the functionality of new systems. Must be detail-oriented to complete project deliverables.

Pay Range: $68,700.00 - $123,700.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
