About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our product management team. This role is hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in our Seaport (Boston) office. We’re prioritizing candidates who are local to the Boston area. This person will help develop processes and strategies to plan, manage and execute major product development projects and engagements. They will also work with our largest clients to ensure we are meeting goals and providing results. This individual should thrive in uncharted territory, taking the lead in defining processes and creating a 'playbook' to guide future projects. They must be comfortable tackling challenges and developing solutions without relying on existing frameworks or established methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create the standardization and process for our large projects
- Manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate updates or bottlenecks to project stakeholders
- Work cross functionally with client services, sales, marketing, and engineering
- Work with our enterprise level clients to ensure we are tracking go live on time and without any issues
- Be comfortable defining brand-new processes to set up organization for future success
Requirements:
- 7+ years of project management experience
- Managed multiple external customer facing projects with high degree of technical difficulty and tight timelines simultaneously
- Experience using common project management tools like ASANA, Microsoft Project, Jira and Smartsheet
- PMP or similar certification is a plus
- Working in the insurance industry is a plus
