About the Team
Jira, Atlassian's flagship agile project management tool, is now for all teams across the business. The latest evolution of Jira offers a shared place for every team to align on goals and priorities, track and collaborate on work, and get the insights they need to deliver incredible outcomes, together. This unlocks a massive growth opportunity for wall-to-wall adoption within existing customers, especially within Enterprise. Leading the charge to capture this opportunity through integrated product and go-to-market strategies is the Jira Enterprise Expansion product marketing team. To help us with this mission, we're looking for a world-class Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the team!
This role is important to Jira's strategic expansion within the Enterprise market. You will help Atlassian expand beyond our stronghold in technical teams (devs, IT, etc.) to reach their business counterparts (marketing, program management, ops, finance, etc.) as we become the system of work for ALL teams!
You will oversee Jira's Enterprise buyer's journey and partner with our sales and marketing teams to improve the funnel to prove value to IT and business decision-makers and influencers. You will create the strategy, messaging, and content needed to win over new audiences and convince IT decision-makers to expand Jira usage across the business. This role is ideal for a customer-focused product marketer experienced at creating compelling marketing narratives, content, and go-to-market strategies looking to lead measurable impact!
In this role, you will:

  • Help shape Jira's strategy for reaching, engaging, and winning over IT buyers and non-technical department leaders and influencers across the business
  • Drive the research and understanding of buying patterns and personas, and build corresponding strategies to engage different personas at each stage of the buyer's journey
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including whitepapers, guides, case studies, blogs, videos, webinars, landing pages and more to support demand generation and pipeline acceleration
  • Partner with our marketing and analytics team to evaluate funnel health to propose and test improvements to existing marketing messages in a multi-channel strategies
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on effectiveness of go-to-market initiatives


More about you:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise Product Marketing and related marketing or sales role in B2B SaaS
  • Expert on high-touch enterprise marketing motions and buyer personas
  • Strong storyteller with an eye for good design who can simplify complex ideas into simple, compelling messages for different audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Cross-functional collaborator who builds relationships with senior stakeholders across from Sales, Marketing, and Product to deliver on a shared vision and goals
  • Ability to spot opportunities and translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, campaigns, and sales plays to help us meet business objectives


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900
Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800
Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
