Think of how Google Drive helps their users manage various parts of their offering effectively; helping customers manage their content and team effectively while also connecting them to all of the other value across Wistia.

Today, our Organize offering includes the core of media management, folder management, search, user management, permissions and more. This is a critical part of our customer experience, so whomever is in this role will have a huge impact on Wistia.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated engineering and design partners, in addition to collaborating with go-to-market to ensure we’re building products that drive our desired outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality products that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a world-class product offering that delivers customer and business value

    • Set the strategic focus for Manage, craft roadmaps that help us take steps in that direction, and gather insights  that help us pivot when needed.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities.
    • Define, track, and reflect on product metrics to measure the success of our products and if we’re impacting our desired outcomes.
    • Ensure our Organize products fit seamlessly with the rest of the Wistia platform and support other teams ability to build a seamless product.
    • Support your engineering and design counterparts to drive overall team performance.
    • As our product org grows, there could be opportunities to lead additional teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers to maximize impact
    • Partner deeply and often with engineering and design across the entire product lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with partners on go-to-market, especially Product Marketing, to ensure we’re addressing the full needs of the business, aligning with stakeholders, and properly communicating our new products to customers.
  • Product Leadership
    • Act as the face of the Manage team. Communicate where this product is today, where it’s headed, and why. Get the team excited about our plans.
    • Work with other leaders in Product, Design, and Engineering to fold in Wistia cultural values.
    • Help identify opportunities and inform the product strategy

  • Experience building UX-forward B2B SaaS products
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
