About the Role

As Sr. Product Manager, Mobile - User Access you will partner with the rest of our growing Mobile team to implement key pieces of our user journey for The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and MarketWatch mobile apps. Reporting to the Director of Mobile Products, you will be responsible for planning, defining and executing against various strategic approaches and technical implementations of features designed to drive users through logging in, registering, and subscribing.

This role combines product, business and marketing strategy. You will be required to interface with the technology teams that support our user authentication, entitlement, and checkout systems. You will also interface directly with stakeholders across our subscriptions marketing team in order to help them see their strategies come to life.

You are a creative self-starter, multi-skilled in product strategy, marketing and technology. You pride yourself on delivering features on-time and without compromising quality. You are able to efficiently manage multiple initiatives concurrently, while effectively communicating to stakeholders throughout the product development process.

You Will:

  • Work cross-functionally across business lines to define product requirements and prioritize the Mobile User Access roadmap.
  • Support the growth of our known user cohort on mobile by implementing improved flows around registration.
  • Make product enhancements and optimizations to increase subscriber acquisition.
  • Perform analysis to demonstrate ROI and impact of product enhancements.
  • Work with research teams to gather and analyze audience feedback regarding our products.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers throughout the product life cycle.
  • Define and measure KPIs for success.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You Have:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally with a subscriber or direct to consumer focus.
  • Some direct experience working with, or on, a Growth Marketing team.
  • Passion and knowledge about digital media, news and investing.
  • Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
  • Fluency in product metrics, specifically those related to subscriptions.
  • Experience conducting experimentation, familiarity with Optimizely a plus.
  • Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
  • Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000
