The Role

As a Senior Product Manager for Trading Products at sFOX, you will drive the strategy and execution of our institutional-grade trading infrastructure, including Smart Order Routing and Margin Trading solutions. You will be responsible for developing and scaling high-performance trading products that serve sophisticated institutional clients while maintaining the highest standards of reliability and execution quality.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for sFOX's trading infrastructure and solutions
  • Lead the development of innovative trading products from conception through launch
  • Analyze market microstructure, liquidity patterns, and trading behavior to optimize routing decisions and execution quality
  • Partner with engineering teams to design and implement low-latency trading systems that meet institutional performance requirements
  • Develop detailed product specifications for post-trade workflows and trading system components
  • Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including latency, fill rates, and execution quality
  • Work with engineering teams to architect scalable solutions that handle high-throughput trading volumes
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability
  • Gather and prioritize client requirements through direct engagement with institutional traders and trading desks
  • Analyze competitive offerings and market opportunities to maintain sFOX's competitive advantage
  • Partner with sales and client success teams to drive product adoption and gather feedback
  • Develop clear product positioning and messaging for institutional client base

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on trading systems or market infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field
  • Demonstrated track record of shipping successful products
  • Deep understanding of market microstructure, order types, and trading venue dynamics
  • Experience with low-latency trading systems and performance optimization
  • Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making skills
  • Proficiency with SQL and ability to analyze large datasets
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership ability and stakeholder management skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities
  • Strong project management skills with ability to drive complex initiatives

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with cryptocurrency markets and trading infrastructure
  • Understanding of margin trading mechanics and risk management
  • Previous experience at electronic trading firms, exchanges, or broker-dealers
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Quantitative Finance


sFox is a remote first company. The expected salary range for this role is $125,000-$190,000 annually and will commensurate with experience, qualifications and location.
