Description

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to help with consumer-facing initiatives — this is a senior role, reporting to the VP of Product.

We are looking for someone who is a consumer product manager first — someone who understands the customers, what they value, what drives their decisions and how to shape the best experience for them. Someone who will drive both the ‘why’ and ‘what’.

Previous product management experience in finance is very welcome, but not a hard requirement — yet deep personal interest in the world of personal finance is.

In this role you’ll need to partner closely with our engineering, design and marketing teams, as well as non-technical stakeholders such as finance and compliance, to deliver holistic experiences.

What:

  • Conduct market and user research, analyze internal data and competitors to understand what are the experiences we need to build
  • Estimate potential upside, understand resourcing and build cases for investing in various features
  • Prioritize and sequence various features, build product roadmaps based on qualitative and quantitative analysis of the opportunities
  • Design experiments, features and experiences from the ground up, optimizing for member value and business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to get buy-in and sharpen the understanding
  • Lay out product requirements and see through the execution and product launches, deciding on running certain interventions as features or experiments, and iterate to optimize the experience
  • Own execution end-to-end — including running experiments, and doing analysis with the support from the data team
  • Use all of the above to drive business metrics as an ultimate owner of your area
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience focusing on consumer products
  • Deep interest in personal finance and financial products
  • Builder mindset and the ability to drive large cross-functional initiatives
  • Analytical dexterity, proficiency with data analysis, market research, experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
  • Strong skills with solution scoping, prioritization and prioritization frameworks
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Curiosity, open-mindedness and drive for constant learning

Preferred Skills:

  • Product management experience at fintech company, or experience in the finance industry
  • Having experience building products or startups from 0 to 1 — we value entrepreneurial spirit and resilience
Benefits
  • $180,000 - $230,000 annual salary + bonus + equity determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
  • Flexible PTO
  • All the benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, short and long term disability coverage (paid by Facet), life insurance options and paid parental leave
  • Certification reimbursement program
  • Work from anywhere in the US

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
