About the teamAt Zillow Group, our mission is to ‘give people the power to unlock life’s next chapter’ and our Sales, Success and Support teams (Frontline operators) are crucial to delivering that mission to our professional partners. The Frontline Products team crafts, builds, and implements the technology that enables our Frontline operators to grow revenue while providing an excellent partner experience. We work in lock-step with our engineering teams to build these experiences and run our core portfolio, which includes custom-developed and third-party corporate applications (Salesforce CRM, engagement, analytics and communication tools).

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our B2B businesses’ sales-assisted quote-to-cash product strategy. This is a new strategic role that will be a critical leader in figuring out how we scale cross-sell and packaging efforts across products. Your focus will be on delivering solutions that enable sales efficiency and a seamless customer purchasing experience.

A successful candidate will make an impact at both strategic and tactical levels, bridging technical and non-technical teams as needed. Use your expertise in CRMs and quote-to-cash systems to propose innovative technical solutions for our Sales teams.

You Will Get To:

  • Lead the strategy for sales-assisted quote-to-cash processes for B2B sales teams, from initial quote through contract, conversion, and fulfillment.

  • Work with revenue generating teams to understand upcoming business strategies, develop sales systems requirements and translate into functional requirements for execution.

  • Develop the roadmap based on company objectives, growth strategies, partner and customer insights, industry dynamics, and technology landscape, in collaboration with product and business leadership for your area of focus.

  • Apply both qualitative and quantitative research to quickly test, measure, and iterate on new product and feature concepts to improve value and mitigate risks.

  • Use product metrics to steer business decisions, identify product opportunities, and assess performance.

  • Serve as the product owner in agile scrum ceremonies by investigating and defining problems, outlining detailed requirements/user journeys, planning development sprints, crafting and implementing user testing strategies, and facilitating continuous releases.

  • Engage with a diverse group of key partners and senior leaders by sharing progress and insights through product briefs, status updates, and demonstrations.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager with direct product ownership, operating in an Agile development environment, collaborating with technology analysts and developers

  • 3+ years direct experience owning sales-assisted quote-to-cash systems (ex: CPQ, Contracts, Order Management, and Sales Compensation platforms) and workflows in CRM

  • Exceptional ability to influence and drive consensus across leadership, product, engineering, and data science teams.

  • Demonstrated experience evaluating end-user experiences and business processes to meticulously document requirements for system development and testing

  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end project lifecycle and technical implementation of new products or features, from discovery to launch execution, including stakeholder management, user testing, and impact assessment

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
