Product Managers play a highly visible role and are vital to the development and execution of Extreme’s One Network, One Cloud, One Extreme product strategy, which provides the foundation for the realization of the Infinite Enterprise vision. As PLM’s, we are responsible for delivering the best user experience across all our solutions allowing our customers and partners to become more productive and efficient. As a Senior Product Manager for One Network, you will become part of the team defining and executing the product strategy for Extreme’s wired solutions with the desired outcome of creating differentiation and gaining market share.  


As a product manager, you will be responsible for keeping track of competition, market trends, and collecting product enhancement requests from field teams, key customers, and partners which will play a vital part in product strategy and roadmap decisions. Overseeing timely delivery of certain inter-organizational processes is key to portfolio development and will be part of your daily duties. We are an agile organization, hence good communication skills will help you establish the right relationships with teams such as Sales, Sales Engineers, System Architects, R&D, and Marketing. You must possess great time management skills with the ability to work cross functionally and must also excel at communication, collaboration, prioritization and accountability for solution delivery and adoption.

Required Skills:

  • You have at least 10 years of product management experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • Experience with wired switching and routing solutions
  • Ability to creates alliances to develop an offering of exceptional design, quality, and experience and jointly improve our competitive advantage
  • Prioritizing work and being responsible for a strategic roadmap for network switching and routing use cases
  • Assisting with cross-selling initiatives to enhance the partner experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Track record of successful delivery of complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate positioning and technology
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and use data to drive decision making
  • This position will require up to 20% travel to customers and partners
