Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel Platform, you will be accountable for owning the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Omnichannel Platform, allowing engineering teams to deliver a best-in-class set of platform services to enable international retail at scale.
Your responsibilities include steering the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, delivery, and support. You leverage your industry leading skills and experience in Retail Platform capability development to continuously enhance our ability to operate internationally at scale.
You lead the effort in budget and resource planning, actively participating in shaping the vision and strategy in collaboration with senior business and technology leaders. You will be responsible for the platform’s lifecycle from cradle to grave. You'll play a crucial role in shaping the platform that all developers at Arc’teryx use.

The Omnichannel team serves business services and underlying integration platforms globally for Arc’teryx with both local and remote team members. Collaboratively, we drive new platform development to meet business demands with unmatched speed and flexibility.
If you were the Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel Platform here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Delivering from end-to-end product lifecycle of platform services owned by Omnichannel Platform
- Collaborating with the director of engineering and own the communication of the strategic vision while aligning technology product strategy to company goals and vision
- Building strong partnership with the business product owners and sponsors to understand, empathize and to create a compelling vision and strategic 1-3 year roadmap for the platform
- Owning the intake process for what work is brought into the platform. Using this process to communicate request status, priority, and capacity
- Working with the Director of Engineering and being responsible for defining & tracking the budget and resources for the platform, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Partnering with business owners with input to the investment needs for business cases to justify product initiatives to senior company stakeholders
- Ensuring alignment across all initiatives within the product roadmap and cross-functionally. Ensuring efficient escalation and removal of impediments
- Responsible for reporting of product roadmap status regularly to business partner steering committees. You will escalate risks and issues and mitigation recommendations to product or portfolio steerco for decisions while also communicating overall Platform status
- Supporting the technology senior leaders in achieving the product portfolio’s strategic goals
- Being a key contributor to the processes we use to plan, schedule, report and communicate what we do

Are you our next Senior Product Manager, Omnichannel Platform
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Owner in a technical environment
- You have 3+ years’ professional experience in software development or developer tools
- You have 2+ years’ experience working with APIs, Cloud technology such as Kubernetes, Redis, no-sql databases and backend server technology
- You have a technical background and/or strong experience in a technical environment
- You have demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders. You have strong leadership and people management skills
- You have an exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, and the ability to build strong, positive relationships within your team, and cross functionally
- You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, frameworks and requirements
- You have strong organization and prioritization skills while managing multiple, competing priorities
- You have demonstrated success in managing budgets and resources for product portfolios
