Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead vision and development of an AI Application framework that provides a structured, developer-friendly approach to building and deploying AI Apps that use DataRobot together with other industry leading tools

  • Design and define APIs, SDKs, and other tools that delight developers and make their lives easier

  • Define and lead teams to build AI-powered applications that leverage best practices in multi-modal AI, deep reasoning, retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and AI-driven content creation.

  • Shape DataRobot’s AI Applications product lines by ensuring alignment with customer needs and emerging AI workflows

  • Integrate your technical knowledge, subject matter expertise and understanding trends to make sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.

  • Create strategic frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision making and business impact. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Articulate to stakeholders your team’s technology vision, requirements, goals and milestones.

  • Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Keen understanding of AI/ML workflows, including multi-modal AI, agentic reasoning, RAG, and enterprise AI applications.

  • Proven ability to define and scale a developer-friendly framework, including APIs, SDKs, and CLIs, preferably in the AI space

  • Strong technical background, with knowledge of software development patterns

  • Knowledge AI/ML landscape and can shape strategy and engage with stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving AI landscape, anticipating trends and aligning roadmap priorities accordingly.

  • 5 years experience in product management with technical products

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a technical product manager or managing delivery of technical capabilities

Nice to Have:

  • Masters’ degree in Engineering or Data Science

  • MBA

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with developers tools

This is a unique opportunity to not just build AI applications, but also define the framework that powers them, ensuring that developers can seamlessly create, customize, and deploy AI solutions at scale. If you’re passionate about impacting the future of AI adoption, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
