Job Description

As the Senior Product Designer, you will shape the experience of ePayPolicy’s products through your ability to translate a deep understanding of users into intuitive, compelling designs. 

With your experience designing for enterprise and consumers, you will map the complex user journeys within insurance payments, and create the winning solution with prototypes, customer feedback, and iteration. 

You will be a key driver for innovation and the user champion of an empowered, fast-moving Product & Technology team obsessed with the experience of our customers. 


What you will do

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer teams to understand problems worth solving in the insurance payments journey

  • Lead discovery and research activities to understand the user needs and context through workshops, user testing, and analytics 

  • Create and validate product solutions through prototypes, concept tests, and experiments

  • Iteratively design intuitive end-to-end experiences from low-fidelity prototypes to visually-compelling interface components

  • Drive a culture of design excellence with high standards, consistency, and continuous learning

  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity sharing the user research and insights with the ePayPolicy teams

  • Move ePayPolicy forward in the UX maturity model with new practices, design approaches, and leadership

  • Take ownership of projects and initiatives, partnering with engineering teams, advising design process expectations, and remaining open to feedback


What you will bring

  • 5+ years of product design experience with SaaS, B2B, and consumer applications

  • Located in Austin, with a strong interest in collaborating with teammates together in a high-energy office.

  • Proven track record of understanding and designing solutions within complex ecosystems like insurance

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work from discovery to delivery

  • Excellent understanding and perspective of design process and best practices in a continuous delivery environment

  • Expert understanding of the software development lifecycle and practices

  • Exceptional empathy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Desire to exceed goals and achieve results; satisfaction derived from delivering exceptional products continuously

  • Strong organizational skills and a relentless attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Rolls up their sleeves, responds quickly and decisively, is flexible and open to change, and is able to productively work with the team to achieve company objectives

We operate on a hybrid schedule for in-office employees. Standard schedules are three days per week in the office, however, the cadence and days are determined by each team and manager.
